      Karl Marx was born in 1818 in Prussia and died at the age of 64 on 14 March 1883. Karl Marx’s father was a lawyer, and his mother was from a wealthy family. At the age of 17, he enrolled to study law and philosophy at the University of Berlin but abandoned this after less than one year to go into journalism. He became editor-in-chief for many newspapers, including “Rheinische Zeitung” which he founded with other radical writers such as Friedrich Engels.
      Marx then went on to write books about economics, politics, history and sociology like Das Kapital (a critique of capitalism), The Communist Manifesto (a manifesto advocating for communism) and The Eighteenth Brumaire Of Louis Bon

      Karl Marx died on March 14, 1883, when he was 64, after succumbing to a bout of bronchitis.
