Billy Graham was a preacher who lived from 1914-2018. He preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to more than 215 million people around the world. His first sermon was delivered at a tent revival in Charlotte, North Carolina and he would preach for 16 hours without stopping. In 1949, Graham founded The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association with headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is still active today as a nonprofit organization that provides resources to pastors and ministry workers on how they can effectively share their faith with others.
He spent his life preaching about God’s love for all people regardless of background or belief system and created an environment where Christians could come together to learn from one another while strengthening their relationship with God through prayer and worshipful singing.
